Voy a tratar a escribir un blog en español. La problema es que no sé mucho español... Pero, como yo dije... voy a tratar...

ummmmm no sé de dondé a voy de aquí. Tambien, no voy a usar google translate, cual va a hacer esto más dificíl. Esto es un desastre. *Suspiro!*

Pero qué a hablar sobre? mi color favorito es amarillo porque me olvido como se dice purple en español whoops. morido o algo... marido quizás. Ni probablamente.

Mi animal favorito es un erizo porque ellos son muy lindo y tienen puntas y comen comida y beben agua. Oh! Y aparace en la noche ;D La  noche es mi tiempo favorito.

Tú sabes que me gusta a leer? Sí, es cierto, yo te prometo! Yo me gustan a leer libros sobre pajaros y perros y perros que puede volar! Todos los libros! Unos de las veces yo me gusta a dibujar también. Vivo una vida apasionante.

10 things you would tell your 16 year old self

i tried to find a nice picture of me when i was 16, unfortunately i lost most of my pictures so...

 

 Here's what i would tell a younger me.

1. you probably should have started posting youtube videos at this age.
2. don't worry about material things because it'll just depress you. try - though i know it's dificult - and realise that most of the population of the world have less than you do. count your blessings.
3. you're probably more childish at 19 than you are now.
4. don't rely on your friends too much.
5. you're not going to change much over the next 4 years appearance-wise and you'll likely not change much 4 years after that. life is not like in the movies, you'll not become drastically different looking when you become an adult. a different actor doesn't step in to play grown-up you. pro tip: looking in the mirror is easier if you try and picture yourself through the eyes of someone that isn't yourself. put simply: if you look for flaws, you'll find them. also, stop trying to look good in photos. it fails. just smile and be yourself. they're always the best pictures.

 6.  "words are wind" - a quote that means nothing to you now but it will eventually~ just try not to let the gust of insults that will come your way knock you down. words are wind and they'll blow over soon.

7.  you're going to give up on religion some day. don't freak out. instead, try and grasp the idea that there is only one life and this is all you get. live for today because you never know when your tomorrow will be snatched from you. (the secret is that you don't really give up on)

8.  your wayward sister turns out better than you do.

9.  you know that thing that's nagging the back of your mind almost constantly? it's okay.

10.  most importantly: keep calm. take deep breaths and don't panic. it always works out somehow. and the worst never happens.

however, your hair does engulf the world. minor detail though.

I'm going to rant about the current state of my electronic belongings. First of all, my laptop has only an 80gb hard drive. And that fills up fast. Let me just go and check out how much memory I have left at the moment... 4.91GB. That number is always changing, but I don't think it's ever been over 8GB free (due to software, music, pictures, etc...) and I doubt it'll ever see over 5GB again. So I'm just constantly deleting things to make room for new things. And don't even get me started on my internet connection! I no longer believe that it is always TalkTalk's fault. I think it's the router. Maybe it's broken... and so it disconnects random devices in my household at random times. So sometimes only one phone or computer can connect, sometimes all but one phone or computer... But raaaaggeeeeeeeeee. I get disconnected all the time!

oh my word. It's like they heard me ranting. Two guys from TalkTalk literally just arrived at my door and asked if we had any problems. LOL.
Them: If you have any problems, keep calling and calling and bothering them. Everytime you disconnect. In fact, call them now!
My mum: Okay! *closes door*
Me: So, you gonna call TalkTalk now?
Mum: I'm gonna call BT.

Hmm... Roald Dahl would be cool to meet. He was the first author that I really fell in love with and I would ditch my friends to read his books. But I'd like to meet him because his quotes are amazing, which leads me to believe that a conversation with him would be not only fascinating but also so very encouraging and would probably stay with me forever. He just seems like such a cool guy!
I would like to eat pizza. Because pizza, that's why.

Stratford Upon Avon! Everywhere was beautiful and I went with such great people. I ate so much tomato soup that week.

 Joffrey Baratheon. I just think he's such a great leader, y'know? So admirable and *SNORT* I can't joke about this anymore, BAHAHA.

I have never really had role models, so to speak. When I see a trait in someone that I like I try to absorb it in my mushy brain and hope that it sticks there. I'm like a patchwork of things I've picked up from all the people I know. However, I also pick up bad habits too. So naturally, I refuse to accept the blame for the horrible person I may be because it's everybody else's fault for influencing me.

13. What do you like and dislike about yourself.

I like my humour! I feel like Chandler Bing sometimes with my terrible jokes but that's okay because I find myself funny. And that's all that matters~

I dislike my lack of self-esteem. It stops me from doing so much.

I rewatched this show in 3 or 4 days and was reminded of how flipping epic it is. It will take a lot to surpass this as my favourite tv show I think... it's subconsciously been my favourite since 2006.

I have a dictionary app on my phone, and this encourages me to always look up any words that I don't know the meaning of, have never seen before, or only really have an abstract meaning of.

And I do this a lot, because I read a lot of articles on the web and my politics textbook sometimes uses big words I don't understand (I sound like a child, but hey it's true), and I often find words in fictional books that I read that I've never seen before.

I decided to record the ones that I came across this week. And I will share them with you!

I've become incredibly fascinated with words recently, looking up words that I already know a basic meaning of just to get a more accurate and detailed definition. I guess what fascinates me is that you can have several words that mean the same thing but one feels more appropriate in a certain situation than the others might. I don't really know why; maybe it's because the sound or feel of the word as you speak it seems more appropriate. Or where the word stands on the spectrum of formality.
