The magic of sarcasm!

30 January 2011

I waste too much time on the web and spend no time studying. This is why I'll fail at life.

I want to show you something that I found while roaming the pages of the Life Issues forum in gaiaonline. It was a link to someone's journal entry and this is what was in it:

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Should Be Illegal
01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all like many of the principles on which this great country was founded; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of marriages like Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

08 ) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven’t adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

(Credit to the person I copied it from)

Just in case you didn't get it, this is a joke and highly sarcastic and I'm not being prejudiced and homophobic in the slightest.

It made me laugh because I've seen half these arguments before. And I know it's American but the people I argue with tend to be American so it's all good.

I loved writing about the interrobang last time so I'm going to find something new to learn and blog about. For da craic leh. Wanna challenge me? I got challenged to write about super continents but I doubt anyone would want to read about that... so be creative! :D

"It sounds like an interrogation gone sexy" - P-Dawg

25 January 2011

I’ve been challenged by Philip Ferguson to write a whole blog post about the sexiest punctuation, interrobangs/interabangs (I think interabang sounds better). I personally think that ellipses are far better but that’s just me... *so much cooler*
So for all you people who don’t know what an interabang is, it’s this: It’s pretty wizard, you have to admit. It’s basically just an exclamation mark and a question mark combined. Like if they got together, their love child would be this lovely specimen.
Before you can learn how to use the interabang, you must first learn about its history. The interabang was created by Martin K. Spekter (what an awesome name) in 1962. Spekter was the head of an advertising agency and the idea was that it would look better if copywriters had a single key that conveyed suprised rhetorical questions. Because they were probably too lazy to press two keys or something. Okay, blah blah blah, that’s all you need to know. Now for the fun part!

How to  use the Interabang
You use it pretty much the same way you would an exclamation mark and question mark... in a sentence that is an exclaimed question. Here are a few examples:
  • “OMG! Did you just chop that guy’s head off‽”
  • “Did the cat just jump over my head‽” (true story)
  • “Is this real life...? Or is this just fantasy‽”
Did you just read this whole post? Congrazzles! You now know how to use the interabang. Unless I’m wrong, which I probably am, in which case you are probably dumber than you were before you read this post.
Imagine you’re on the Weakest Link or Who Wants to be a Millionaire, if it still exists, or some other quiz show and the question pops up, “What is the function of an interrobang?” and you would know the answer, because of this quick lesson!
Thanks to wikipedia for providing me with the answers. Did anyone else see Lady Gaga’s wikipedia page yesterday‽ Somebody raped edited the first line. How dare they commit such slander! Provided some good lols though.

Okay, I'm done now.
Lots of virtual hugs and kisses for all my fans out there (so far the fan count: zero one!),

24 January 2011

That is Starbursts's catchphrase. Just in case you were wonderin'.

Sorry about the much-belated blog post. I’ve been busy. I just don’t know what with! What have I done all week?
·         Watched the first series of The Mighty Boosh
·         Started the second...
·         Watched five or six movies
·         Watched a lot of YouTube videos
·         Listened and bought a lot of new music... I’m going to have to delete Nelly Furtado and *cringe* N Dubz... I swear it was my sister that put them on there!
·         Uhh uhhh uuuuuhhhh didn’t revise for my resit on Thursday...
·         Nor did I do any art...
·         I drove to Newry and back to get fishy meds and new earphones
·         Worked Friday night and most of Saturday
·         And a little bit of Sunday
·         Set up my Granda’s internet... and then he asked me to install about 10 programs and transfer things from various computers aaand show him how to copy and paste/put things onto his external hard drive
·         I also opened the alarm clock I got for Christmas and it’s now sitting on my bedside table. Not working... because I refuse to put batteries in it and listen to that tick tick ticking, gah!

So yeah! I’ve been reaaaaal busy.

The real purpose in this blog was to show you this!

Hang on, I need to mention that this test was sponsored by my mother, who kindly bought me the starbursts... and a crunchy. Mmm...

And then I microwaved it for twenty forty seconds and it turned into this...

This post was brought to you by LE MAYJAY and inspired by Elizabeth Morris.

Mmm I had to eat the bit in the middle with the paper attached because it was all hard and refused to come off. Mmm. :3

January, miz Genver, januar, Iανουάριος, 一月

18 January 2011

My list of New Year’s Resolutions was a failure, just like every other year. But all is not lost! January has been super amazing thus far and I hope it will continue for the next 13 days and February is looking good. March is going to be an outstanding month for me as well.
Reasons why January has been great:
Ø  Good habits I’ve gotten in to:
o   Blogging
o   Poppin’ dem pills, i.e., vitamins, iron, omega 3,6 and 9 etc
o   Crossing off the days on a calendar (never done that before)
o   Keeping really organised with my phone calendar
o   Keeping a dream diary
o   Trying to cram in as many fruit and veg as I can in my diet
Ø  Got my appetite back. I’m eating proper meals again and actually enjoying them
Ø  Getting better at not procrastination
Ø  Actually knowing the answers in class for once (ties in with no procrastinating)
Ø  I feel more involved with my class than before, so much better than the first five years of school I spent friendless. Shame I waited until the last year though...
Ø  Confidence boost
Ø  My dentist says I don’t need any more fillings (for now, lol)
Ø  Found out I love Linda McCartney’s soya products. So much better than Quorn.
I was so depressed on New Year's Eve, and for the past year... but it seems to be cured, for now. So I shall hope that it stays that way!

Je vous aime, mes chéris!

Is that your wand in your pocket, or are you happy to see me?

14 January 2011

Oh, Tumblr, how I love thee.

Somebody posted a couple Harry Potter pick-up lines and they were so funny I had to find more.

  • If you were a Dementor, I'd become a criminal just to get your kiss.
  • My love for you burns like a dying phoenix.
  • I must have had some Felix Felicis, because I think I'm about to get lucky.
  • Whaddya say you and me go look for the Room of Requirement?
  • You don't even have to say "Luminos Maxima" to turn me on!
  • Are you using the Confundus charm or are you just naturally mind blowing?
  • You can have the portkey to my heart
  • I must need Occlumency, because I can't get you out of my thoughts
  • I don't need the mirror of Erised to know that you're everything I desire.
  • Your smile's like expelliarmus: simple but disarming.

And my parents wonder why I’m single... lol.

Just as promised

13 January 2011

Guurl, you be πmpin’. If someone were to ever say you’re average, I’d call them mean because sitting with you in the library everyday has left me without a shadow of a doubt that you have your fair share of problems, if you get what I mean. You’re super intelligent but when you’re proven wrong you can eat your humble pi. You sure are a great mathematician and you have amazing friends to count on and although you get a lot of compliments for your hair, you don’t let it go to your head. Going off on tangents can be a sine of madness though...

Best quote of the day.

12 January 2011

No, no, no, it's nothing spunky...

My aunt had a baby girl a couple days ago and my sister said, so innocently, "She must have got the right sperm for that!" LOL Today has been hilarious!

My confession

Dear you. I have a confession to make... I love you. I love how smooth you are, your taste... your milk... your crunchy bits... Oh golly I love your creamy texture. You're dark and mysterious but you also have a sweet side. And it's very sweet indeed. Although you may destroy my pearly whites and kill me on the inside I still love you from the pits of my stomach. I think you know who you are. ;D
Love Le MayJay
<3

PS Ya got spunk. LOL (I've lost count of how many times I've used this word today)

This confession made me feel a lot lighter... sorta... well I'm eating chocolate and drinking coke while I write this so there's only so much lighter I can feel, but yeah. So perhaps I can squeeze another confession in before the day is over.

Day nine - Two events/actions that describe your life right now

11 January 2011

#1
Daydreaming. It's not really an action... or is it? I don't know. But it seems all I do nowadays is daydream about anything. Today I was thinking about how amazing it would be if Daft Punk went on tour this year and I was imagining the moment of happiness I would feel after buying the tickets and I started jumping up and down and was about to clap my hands with excitement when I realised I was just daydreaming again. On the point of concerts, I'd like to thank the dickhead who decided to rip my ticket to see Russell Howard in March. Thanks.

#2
I'm procrastinating right now. But I promise you I'm working on it. I was working fairly hard in school today and I got my History homework done the very day I was given it. You have to admit, that's pretty good for me!

Oh golly, tomorrow's the confession.

Dream dream dream dream

10 January 2011

Sorry for spamming you with new entries.

I've decided to keep a dream diary and tomorrow night I will be trying out listening to theta binural beats while I sleep. All an attempt to trigger a lucid dream. But I'm a bit scared of trying out the theta beats because they can trigger sleep paralysis and night terrors... So I might dismiss that idea... All depends.

I've had one fully lucid dream before, by accident, and one semi-lucid dream when I tried out meditating and fell asleep.

My semi-lucid dream I can remember quite clearly. The world was coming to an end and there were fireworks everywhere. A cat was leading the way to safety into a house of some man I don't know. He had a nice beard lol. The cat was white with 3 black patches, 2 on it's ears that stretched across it's eyes and one huge black patch on it's back. Anyway, it was semi-lucid in that I knew I was dreaming the whole time but I couldn't control what was happening.

My lucid dream... it's more interesting. Well it is to me. I can't remember what I was dreaming about beforehand but I remember the dream changed and I was in a completely white room, sitting on the floor in front of a white sofa and I was watching tv (also white) when Philip's face started to pop out of the floor and it shocked me so I slapped it and as soon as I had done that I was lying in my bed still watching the white tv that was hanging from the roof above my bed. I became aware of my dreaming when I saw the tv and I waved my hands in front of my face and they were blurry and I got excited but I had to calm myself down. I jumped out of bed, the whole way across the room to the door and lightly floated/pranced (lol) down the stairs of my house and floated across the hallway to the front door. I decided that because I was dreaming I didn't need to walk anywhere so I teleported across the road and continued my floaty walk down my park while I re-enacted an assassination of someone in a typical British red coat by someone with a blue version of that coat. The blue guy shot the red guy and I just kept going. I hadn't reached the end of my park when I started to worry that I might lose control so I made myself wake up. I was disappointed because I was too afraid to do anything. Too afraid to fly so I floated instead.

Have you ever had a lucid dream? Or just a crazy dream? What happened in it? Blog about it!

Stubbly beard <3 Lemme find some pictures of the perfect beard to provide examples.

Charles Trippy <3

Jake Gyllenhaal has a nice beard here too

Close up stubble. So ya know what I'm talking about.

A fine example of the perfect beard.

Oh Michael <3 LOL Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Starting to lose seriousness here... This post is far too long.

#2
Someone who shares my "dislikes children" personality trait.

#3
The ability to cook!

Well this has been interesting.

And that's it for my latest installment of this meme. See you next time for more fun, when we'll be discussing two events/actions that describe my life right now!

Day seven - four turn offs

Day Seven – Four turn offs

#1
Ever heard of shit-catchers? That would be the name that my good friends have for tracksuit bottoms that are elasticated at the bottom.

These monstrosities should not be worn outside of the house.

#2
Smoking
Does not need explanation. But I'll give one anyway! Eww the smoke. Eww the discolouration of teeth/skin/anything that can discoloured. Eww the bad breath. Eww the stink that sticks to clothes. And, of course, I would love it if you didn't die of cancer, caused by smoking. Or any other health problem caused by cigarettes in fact.

#3
Regular binge-drinking. I’m okay with the odd drink or even getting drunk every so often. Every weekend though... perhaps too much. Every day? Noooooooo.

#4
I’m not incredibly intelligent, far from it, but I have a fairly good education and I know some stuff and I like to get into debates and discussions on just about everything. So a lack of education/knowledge (I have to be careful how I word this because some of the smartest people did not go to school/flunked school) could bore me.

Day six - five people that mean a lot (in no particular order)

I seem have gotten quite behind on the ol' bloggin'. My apologies!

Day six – Five people that mean a lot to you (In no order)
Obviously family means a lot to me but there are too many to write about so I’ve written about some friends that mean a lot to me. And they’re cryptic-ish so have fun. (Although some are either too easy or too hard)

#1
You’re short-tempered and I find myself treading on eggshells when I’m around you sometimes but that’s okay because after such a long time I think I know you better than anyone. I know you think highly of me because you’ve told me so but I don’t think I let you know how highly I think of you. You’re my best friend and I hope we can stay that way for a very long time.

#2
I don’t let you know how much I love you because unfortunately events can cause strains on our relationship.  The only thing is that you’re very immature. I’m childish but you’re so much more so. You act like a hyperactive five year old at time and you go beyond boundaries that shouldn’t even be pushed. But I want you to know that I still love you and I hope we stay friends for a long time. <3 Live long and prosper! The only thing I’d like to add is that I don’t think you should disregard your education to stay with your friends; we’re not leaving anytime soon, so neither should you.

#3
We were at a party and you got jealous when someone was able to give me better advice than you. I valued your advice much more than his because you have more experience than him. I wonder if you even still remember what I’m talking about as you were drunk at the time but I know that his education intimidated you and you wish you hadn’t flunked school but you’re still an inspiration to me because you represent hard-work to me. No one else I know works quite as hard as you do.

#4
I find you so easy to talk to and we have our little rants together. Sometimes I worry that you’re making a mistake but somehow I think things will work out okay for you. I wish I had more to say but other than that you’re a super duper friend, with the coolest of interests and I look forward to watching anime at all hours of the morning/night when I’m living with you (hopefully) next year in our flat with our cats and fish.

#5
I can imagine you’d wonder why I’d write about you in people that mean a lot to me because I’m sure I don’t mean that much to you but I honestly didn’t think I’d ever find a friend after so many friendless years of school. So whether you realise it or not, I’m so thankful of our friendship, even if I know it won’t last for much longer.

I'm going to go paint some mugs and drive around town like an idiot

08 January 2011

Day number 6 post will be delayed! Dun dun DUN! Until probably around 1 oclock in the morning. I've got a good reason. I was called into work 3 hours early so my day is gone and I've got plans for tonight and I can't exactly post it when it's half-finished so I'll finish it when I get back and post it. Unless I'm too tired... In which case I might post today's entry as well as tomorrow's tomorrow.

And now my hands stink of bleach. Mmm...

Here, have a picture of Demi instead.

Yeah well I'm away to go get some chocolate.

Bye! Cya bbz!

PS If you're American this doesn't apply to you. Seeing as somehow I've got 5 times as much American views than British ones... and I have no American friends at this time... And a big "HI!" to all my viewers from Denmark!

Day five - six things you wish you'd never done

07 January 2011

When Emma said she thought that day five and ten looked the hardest, I agreed with ten but not five. But looking back there are things that I want to change or take away completely and things I just don't want to be known... so perhaps it's harder than I thought. Here it is (a slightly more censored version of the original):

#1
I wish I hadn’t shied away from my great Grandfather while he was still alive. He was such an amazing man but I never got to know him. I was 9 when he died and a very shy child, unfortunately.
#2
I really regret not studying for my June exams in year 8. A silly thing to still regret, right? Well I think that’s where procrastination started for me. I moved up a class halfway through that year and I think it muddled me up or maybe I got a bit big-headed and thought I didn’t need to revise... but then I don’t think this was the case because I’d just moved up a class, I think I was terrified that everyone else was smarter than me. I have no idea what made me not revise that year but I never properly revise for anything after that. I’m surprised I’ve got as far as I have but I wish I didn’t have to rely on luck and my memory because eventually they’re going to run out on me.
#3
I wish I'd never started this meme. If you don't already know, day ten is one confession. Do not want! D:
#4
This one is going to sound absolutely absurd. I regret the summer I spent too paranoid to do anything on the internet. I used to be a computer whizz. And then something must have happened, I dunno, but I became afraid of posting pictures of myself on the internet and afraid to post in forums in case I got banned, and worst of all, afraid of making friends on the internet in case they became those creepy stalkers you hear about on the news and afraid they weren’t who they said they were. I realise how stupid I was and I certainly don’t fear the internet anymore but unfortunately it’s amazing how out-of-touch you can get after not using it for a few months. I lost all my friends and websites changed and when I came back I didn’t know how anything worked anymore.
#5

I wish I didn't let what someone said about you in the early stages of our friendship affect how I thought of you. I think differently now.

#6
I definitely wish I hadn’t dossed my AS Levels because I’m paying for it now.

Sorry this entry isn't that good.

Day 4 - 7 Things that cross your mind a lot

06 January 2011

Seven things that cross your mind a lot

#1
Worries about this future. This one is a bit typical for an 18 year old but nevertheless it’s still something that crosses my mind far too much for my liking.
#2
Is art really the right choice? This one relates to number one but it’s more specific. I wonder if I could do an art course, is my skill enough, do I work hard enough? (obvious answer = no.) Could I stick with it? What if I fail to make money out of it?
#3
My appearance. Another typical one for an 18 year old girl but this stresses me out quite a lot. I’m far from pretty unfortunately and as Ms T keeps stressing this point in English, “Appearance determines your destiny”, or something like that. But I’m reassured that there are many people in the world that aren’t so shallow as I sometimes exaggerate them to be.
#4
Chocolate. And Starbursts. Relatively new addictions actually. As a child I loved sugar but then so did most children. And then I went through a period of not caring much for sweets at all. But now I rely on that sugary deliciousness to give me the energy I need to make it through the week. I’m actually eating chocolate right now; Cadbury Dairy Milk with Crunchy... mmm... I don’t eat it that much, this chocolate bar will probably last the whole week but it’s still a necessity. And Starbursts, where do I even start?! I don’t know how this came about but sometimes I have such strong cravings for them that my mother questions whether her daughter could possibly be pregnant.
#5
I actually have this huge fear of epilepsy. My sister has it, my mum had it when she was younger, and my cousins have it. It’s genetical so it’s not an totally irrational/unrealistic fear. However I’m constantly checking if my sister’s okay because I’ve seen her take some bad fits and I’m always afraid that she’ll be on her own when she takes one. Luckily she’s never been on her own so far.
#6
As I said before, I rehearse conversations over and over in my head because I get my words mixed up or else I’m afraid of saying something I’ll regret, so that’s definitely something that goes through my head a lot.
#7
I can’t be the only one with this thought... Ever afraid that someone’s listening in on your thoughts? Whether it’s God you fear; or a random psychic passerby; or Edward Cullen. Or all 3? At once?! Microsoft word is a mess of green squiggly lines because of my fail at sentence structure but who cares! I sometimes think things that I shouldn’t and then I quickly get my thoughts in check to make sure that if someone else is listening in on me that they won’t be creeped out.

I'm starting to dread day 10...

Hopefully you won't think less of me,
Mary-Jane

Day 3 - 8 ways to win my heart?

05 January 2011

Just in case anybody would be interested in winning my heart... Kerri has it by the way.

Day Three – Eight ways to win your heart

Wait, wait. How to win your heart? Your heart? Your? What if I don’t want to win your heart?!
Here’s how to win mine anyway:

#1
Dedicate a book to me. Ever seen the movie Dedication? Well the English guy did it wrong. But that movie made me hope that someday a book will be dedicated to me. It’s also one of my favourite movies; you should go check it out.
#2
Being able (and willing) to cook would be amazing. Because I sure can’t. Have you heard how I’m going to live when I move out? Most likely pizzas, beans on toast and takeaways. No joke.
#3
Watch movies with me. Sounds easy enough but I watch a lot of movies and most of them are really stupid... I also love to see movies at the cinema when they first come out. If I could have my way/more money I would visit the cinema once a week and I don’t think it would ever get old.
#4
Obsess over stupid things with me, such as games/books/movies/TV series/music/candy etc.
#5
Okay this is kinda cheating... But no jewellery. I was friends with this guy who kept asking me out and I kept saying no and around Christmas time he gave me a ring and said it was kinda like an engagement and well long story short I never spoke to him again. I think that Jewellery is a bit creepy in some cases. Unless I know you really, really well it can be interpreted wrongly. ("Wrongly" is a word! Who knew.)
#6
I’m going to go for the very obvious one here: good sense of humour. I’ve got an odd sense of humour and not many people get it all the time. I shock even my closest friends at times with the stuff I say.
#7
I’m not going to say you should hold the same views as me because I love to get into discussions about everything; however I hold some pretty strong views on certain things, such as homosexuality, religion, the elderly and the disabled that you just don’t want to cross.
#7
(It’s getting harder)
I love gadgets *hint hint*
#8
Please don’t judge me on my appearance. Jane Eyre found her true love and she was a short, ugly mess. I mean... she was plain. Because appearance doesn’t matter to me. Well... if you have a nice little stubbly beard thing going on, a bit like Charles Trippy, that would be amazing.

This was quite difficult for me to write because I don’t give much thought to how someone can win my heart.  I read some pretty twisted romance novels and even worse - fan fictions – but I don’t think they’re really appropriate for real life. I also know my list is unrealistic but I could have made it worse... like winning the lottery/being born into a lot of money would have been number one. Someone that will heed my every wish would be next... Oh darn I don’t think rich slaves exist!

Mary-Jane <3

Blue? Grey? ... Green?! What!

I've hated the colour of my eyes since... P5. We were asked what colour our eyes were for some sort of work we had to do or something, I can't remember now, but I said my eyes were blue. My teacher at the time said "No, your eyes aren't blue. They're grey!" Thus making me feel less than perfect for not having a normal eye colour. In fact I have the dullest of eye colours.

However, at lunchtime today there was a bit of a debate among my peeps over what colour my eyes are. It was Hannah that started this by randomly turning to me and telling my eyes are green. Which I said was silly because I love green eyes so much and my eyes are disgusting, they couldn't possibly be green. And then Philip said they were a weird colour of green or something like that. Basically I feel like I've been living a lie! What colour is my eye?! (fail at rhyming LOL)

(You can see my DSi reflected in them xD)

Looking at these pictures I just took actually makes me think my eye colour has changed... can that happen? I'm rambling now... if you've read this far, congratulations. I just asked my dad and he says they're a bluey-grey, like his. Only his are more blue. Ugh, my eyes are such a horrible murky colour!

"Don't talk shit," says my father.

Anyway... I've got a very awkward blog to be writing. Day number 3 is here!

Day 2 - 9 things about yourself

04 January 2011

I shall try to think of 9 things that you don't know about me, so here goes:

Ø  I have brown hair
Ø  Grey eyes
Ø  I wear glasses
Ø  ...

Nah, I kid. Here's the real list...

Ø  When I'm angry, I am aware of my anger. Which is good because I know not to say anything stupid because I'll regret it later. I'm also pretty good with knowing when others are mad and I know to keep my mouth shut. This is how I manage to stay good friends with two very hot-headed people.
Ø  I believe serial killers are most interesting. Their reason for killing; their methods; riddles and puzzles left behind as clues; mental issues involved. I think this is probably why I find horror/thriller movies and books so fascinating/addicting. Writing this I have just realised that I never read detective novels or watch many detective movies... maybe that’s something I should change. Any recommendations?
Ø  I think I must have some sort of language impediment because I rehearse what I’m going to say over and over in my head before actually saying it and my speech can sometimes be rushed or mixed up because I’ve got too many thoughts in my head.
Ø  Apparently it’s really easy to tell when I’m upset but I beg to differ.
Ø  You probably know my favourite colour is purple but do you know why? I think that dark purple is the most expressive and beautiful colour you could use to depict a starry night sky or nebula etc. And I love to look at the stars.
Ø  I’m a pathological (I think that’s the right term?) procrastinator. No matter how hard I try to fix it, it always comes back and it stresses me to no end. Despite how calm and carefree I appear in school, when I’m at home and thinking of the homework that needs to be done for the following morning sends me into panic, inevitably leaving myself unable to do the work, making matters worse.
Ø  I have a life plan; it’s very loose and is continuously changing. To be married and live in a studio apartment with 2 cats and a dog and work as an illustrator or in advertisement. In America. Preferably a big city, like New York. Or London... whatever.
Ø  I detest children. Growing up in a household with two ADHD siblings and another rebellious sibling that made her parents’ life hell has probably greatly influenced my opinion on all children. But perhaps this will change as I get older and the mothering instinct hits in but I dunno.
Ø  I’m incredibly indecisive. I have problems making decisions that will have a great impact on my life and this is why I can’t write a personal statement and decide what course I want to do in university.

I quickly need to post before my laptop dies and before it hits midnight and it goes into day 3! Oh no it's all messed up! I'll fix it tomorrow.
Love,
Le MayJay

10 day Meme - Day 1

03 January 2011

I stole this meme from someone that I'm following on dA. [link]

Soo...

Day One:
Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.

I had paragraphs wrote out and addressed them and everything but then I decided to scrap it all and go with short sentences and not say who they're addressed to. So as to not offend and perhaps some things are better left unsaid.

#1

Your encouragement and your opinion matters more to me than you probably know.

#2

Grow up.

#3

You're probably the only one that I'll miss.

#4

You've challenged the way I think without even realising it and you've made me rethink some of my opinions of things. Ultimately changing me for the better, I think.

#5

I wish you could understand that I'm not lazy. I actually can't do it.

#6 (applies to more than one person)

I dread the day you'll be gone.

#7

I wish you didn't have so much an effect on me.

#8

Despite what you may think, you're such an inspiration to me and I wish could tell you that.

#9

I think I have the wrong opinion of you but you don't give me much choice.

#10

Thank you for creating chocolate. LOL
